Sara
Easley has been coaching others for over 9 years and is a Certified Professional
Coach through Corporate Coach U (CCU) since March 2005. She
specializes in individual leadership development and organizational succession
planning. As a member of the International Coach Federation (ICF), Sara earned the Associate
Certified Coach (ACC) credential in 2009 and is committed to demonstrating the
ICF's extensive set of coaching competencies in her practice.
First-line and mid-level managers dedicated to continued growth have benefited
from Sara’s coaching through her focus on emotional intelligence (EQ) and specific leadership
competencies. The individual efforts of her clients have directly impacted team
and departmental results as well as their own career advancement or transition
opportunities.
In the area of team coaching, Sara will focus on improving group effectiveness
through open dialogue, empathy of diversity, and agreement on mutual purpose. To
achieve these critical factors, she incorporates her advanced-level
certification inMyers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI). This is a validated
psychological tool which identifies individual personality preferences in
communication, decision-making, conflict resolution, and change management. By
helping others to understand their own inner dynamic, it provides a powerful way
to understand and appreciate similarities and differences in others.
Sara is also a dynamic facilitator certified in several key leadership programs
which require ongoing skill development. Programs include: Coaching Clinic and Essential Conversations for
Developing Others (both through
Corporate Coach U); Simply Strengths immersion workshop (through Marcus Buckingham Company), Crucial Conversations immersion workshop (through VitalSmarts), Emotional Intelligence(EQ)
and Appreciative Inquiry coaching methods.
Sara’s personal value statement is: “I
feel STRONG when I am coaching others to identify and leverage their strengths
to reach their desired personal and professional results.” Her commitment includes: (1)
confidential coaching sessions with intentional focus on leadership development
and effectiveness; (2) collaborative group partnerships for problem-solving,
trust-building, and improved team results; and (3) support of key leadership
programs as certified facilitator.
In her spare time, Sara enjoys life with her husband, loves anything to do with
the beach, is an amateur photographer and avid reader, and casually raises
orchids through a technique that she describes as "kind neglect".
